Phone Approvals are Fast Approvals

St Tammany Parish Bail Bond has a long history with Louisiana's justice system. We've spent the past several years writing bail bonds for people all over the state after they've been charged with a crime and arrested. We've lost count of the number of bail bonds we've posted. When it comes to a bail bond, we're as happy to help out whether you've been charged with a minor misdemeanor or a major felony. We have found that the people who decide to handle the entire approval process over the phone instead of coming into the office can usually get approved and have the bail bond posted faster. We think that the difference is not having to drive to the office. Unless you live just down the block from us, the odds are good that we can handle the entire approval process in less time than it would take you to drive to our office.

Services that set us apart from the competition include:

The sooner you contact us, the sooner we can write the bail bond for you. All you have to do is call our office.

Bail and Traveling

Just because you've been released on bail, it doesn't mean you're free to do whatever you want.

During any arraignment, a judge will listen to the charges that are filed against you and look at your criminal history. Then, armed with this information, they set a bail that they feel will be high enough to convince you to attend all of your court appearances.

In some cases, the judge will decide that posting bail isn't enough and will attach some restrictions to the bail. Unfortunately, these restrictions aren't unusual to severely limit your travel options. In fact, in some situations, you will even be required to wear an electronic monitoring device so the police know your exact location at all times.

When the judge attaches restrictions to your bail, it's usually pretty obvious where you can and can't go. But what about the times when there are no restrictions? Does that mean you're free to go wherever you want?

The answer is no. When you're out on bail, you shouldn't plan any great trips that take you out of the country. Whenever possible, you should try to stay in Louisiana. If you find yourself in a situation where you'll have to do a little bit of traveling, you should contact your bail bonds agency and inquire whether the trip will get you in trouble. After spending a few days out of state, the last thing you want is to return and find out that because you temporarily left Louisiana, your bail has been revoked.
